MDT (Social Service Time)

As of February 6, 2020, HOPE XXL is one of the implementing organizations with regard to the subsidy provided by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, for Social Service Time (MDT). HOPE XXL will ensure that 1260 students in the Netherlands carry out 80-hour socially oriented projects in the period 2020-2022.

TR8-projects

After presenting the Liemers List to the United Nations (UN), HOPE XXL is converting the articles from the Liemers List into concrete projects to increase happiness and well-being in people. Under the heading “Think Global, Act Local”, HOPE XXL wants to achieve that Liemers will become the happiest and most sustainable region in the world by 2030, through these so-called "TR8-Projects".

Hi, we are HOPE XXL!

We aspire a world in which each person grades their life with an 'eight'. HOPE XXL was initiated by ten youth leaders from the Netherlands. By now, HOPE XXL has grown much larger. Young people across the country and far beyond have joined HOPE XXL by helping, taking part in events, or inviting HOPE XXL to their schools.

Our road to the United Nations

HOPE XXL started as a small local association with just ten people, but within a few years made it to the General Assembly of the United Nations to present the Liemers List, The Universal Declaration of The Things We Have To Do.
